FREE SUMMER ACTIVITIES IN RIO VISTA
The City of Rio Vista, ATOD, and the Rio Vista Youth Steering committee are pleased to provide FREE summer activities for kids entering the 6th through 9th grades.
For information, changes to schedule, or to volunteer contact the City of Rio Vista Beth Roberts, ATOD Coordinator – 374-6451 Ext. 106.
Applications for the youth horse camp can be picked up at City Hall or Rio Vista Care office.
JUNE ACTIVITIES
June 6 – ROPES (Rugged Outdoors Physical Experience System) – City Park-between 3rd and 4th at Montezuma St.-10:00 – 11:30am
June 7 – Build a Bird Feeder—Youth Center, 225 Sacramento Street -10am 12noon
June 9 – Rio Vista Family Picnic with free BBQ – City Park—11am – 2:00pm
June 12 – Youth Hiking Trip – Sandy Beach-10am – 3:00pm
June 12- Crochet Class @ UBC (Union Baptist Church)125 Sierra Ave- 10am-12pm
June 13- Youth Horse Camp-Gentry Farm – 9-12noon
June 20 – ROPES – City Park—10am – 11:30am
June 21- RV Recycling Event- Youth Center-10am-12pm
June 24- Rio Vista Community Service Volunteers needed – 1105-A Airport Rd- 10am-12pm
June 26 – Youth Center Project for the family – Help clean-up / fix-up our Youth Center – Tentative
June 27—Youth Horse Camp- Gentry Farm-9am-12noon
June 29 – Coast Guard Facility Tour
June 19—Crochet class @ UBC 10-12noon
