The City Council voted unanimously at the last council meeting to open the city pool. The Rio Vista pool will only be opened for lap swimming, starting on July, 27th.
Advanced sign ups only, go to https://signup.com/go/TjBoHP or go to the Rio Vista Sharks Facebook. The cost for lap swimming is $3 per person for 50 minutes, one swimmer per lane. Open 12 to 4 daily through August 9th, then weekends through Labor Day.
What you need to take note of before visiting the pool:
Please exercise social distancing (10 ft. apart) and wear masks (state-mandated) until pool entry and upon exiting.
Sign in with the lifeguards before entering the pool. Covid-19 release must be signed and turned into the office.
Changing rooms will not be available, please come dressed ready to swim. Bring minimal items with you and be sure to place in a socially distanced location from others.
The pool deck is closed at this time for congregation and / or viewing. Shark participants (city swim team) must be able to come in on their own and leave after their swim time is done.
Waivers can be printed from the Rio Vista Sharks Facebook or available in the office. The waiver will need to be signed by an adult before entry the pool. For questions call 707-374-5211 during business hours, or reach them on their Facebook page.
