MAY 4, 2021 COVID VACCINATION EVENT

This event is for the second vaccination for those who received a vaccination on April 14, 2021. Your appointment time is the same as your first vaccination.

Additionally, the County has informed the City that they have an additional 1,400 vaccine doses (Pfizer) available for the May 4, 2021, event. As a result, this will now be a first-time vaccination opportunity for those aged 16 years and up who desire their first dose.

For those who elect to receive their first vaccination on May 4th, the second dose will be given at the same location on May 25, 2021.  The second vaccination will be at the same location and at the at the same time as your May 4th appointment.

The City of Rio Vista is working with the Solano County Health Department to provide residents of Rio Vista with COVID-19 vaccinations. The Health Department has confirmed this event is for those aged 16 years and older.  

The Solano County Department of Public Health will be on site to administer the vaccinations.

First vaccine dose:

When:     Wednesday, May 4, 2021

Where:    Travis AFB Aero Club Hangar located at 3010 Bauman Road

                 Rio Vista, CA

Time:       9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

Eligibility: 16+ Solano County residents and workers including students and families

  • Vaccines are FREE and available to all eligible groups.
  • Bring a valid photo ID or proof of employment (i.e., work badge)
  • Please arrive no more than 20 minutes early and anticipate a 40-minute appointment.
  • Wearing a mask is required.
  • Recommend loose fitting clothing be worn.
  • Appointments are highly encouraged however walk-up appointments are welcome.
  • For scheduling assistance, call (707) 784-8655.
  • The County is making 1,400 doses of the Pfizer vaccine available.
  • This is not a “drive by” event. Participants will need to park and enter the Travis Aero Club Hangar to receive the vaccination.

Second vaccine dose:

When:     Tuesday, May 25, 2021

Where:    Travis AFB Aero Club Hangar located at 3010 Bauman Road

                 Rio Vista, CA

Time:       9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

City staff will be available at the gate entrance to the hangar and will direct people to their parking spot. Those receiving a vaccination should plan on waiting 15 minutes at the hangar after receiving their vaccination.
