Saint Brigid Episcopal Church in Rio Vista has resumed worship in the church building, located at 218 California Street, Rio Vista (the corner of California and South 2nd Street). Worship begins at 10:30 am every Sunday morning. The church’s first in-person Eucharist worship service will be held on Sunday July 4, 2021.
The church as been meeting online through Zoom during the Covid 19 pandemic and is proceeding with caution in beginning in-person worship. Worshippers will be asked to wear a mask and social distance in the sanctuary.
During the period that Saint Brigid’s met via Zoom, they realized there were many people for whom online worship was ideal (and sometimes the only way they could attend church). As the congregation goes back worshipping in person, the church has created a hybrid “in person and online” worship service.
