There was a wonderful 80th Birthday celebration on Sunday, July 24th for Fred Aichinger. He is a well loved man in Trilogy. He rides with the Trilogy Bikers, plays Bocce and dances . Due to an accident he had as an iron worker, he is in constant back pain, but he still dances with a cane. He had polio as a child and he danced through it with a good spirit. He has had several heart surgeries and each one he has danced through with happy feet. His 80th was held with his church family, the New Pilgrims. Pastor Ella Ray talked about dancing with Jesus . She played the song I want to Dance With You Jesus and some were moved to dance. Fred started the dancing with a dear friend and then other New Pilgrims joined him. His Great Grandchildren were with him Sunday as well as his daughter and her son. If one is feeling a bit low in spirit, Fred brings God’s love in a way that makes one want to dance in the Spirit. His friend, LaDonna planned, with Samantha’s catering, a beautiful birthday celebration. There were about 80 people in attendance. Now that is a party! Fred is an usher and greeter for the new Pilgrims. He is the first person you will see if you visit the New Pilgrims. His smile is priceless. He greets all who enter the American Legion, where the New Pilgrims meet, with a smile that warms the heart. All are welcome. Fred makes everyone feel special. All who gathered Sunday danced in joy with Fred’s family and friends.
