The City of Rio Vista Public Works Department has been busy planning the 2nd annual Airport Day Wings and Wheels, scheduled for September 9, 2023, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. This is our second year back and we are excited to be expanding our Rio Vista Airport Day experience!
Just like last year, local first responder agencies and Guard Station Rio Vista will be in attendance for the public to ask questions and check out vehicles, as well as great cars, trucks, airplanes and, of course, the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast at 9:00 am.
This year we are adding a food truck court, US Coast Guard Station Treasure Island rescue helicopter, Kids Area, Blackhawk Helicopters, as well as more planes, hot rods and motorcycles and some great local vendors for all types of interests.
