Napa, CA: The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will present “Boat America,” a boating certificate class scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, 5:30 – 9:30 PM, Part 1 and Wednesday, April 8, 5:30 – 9:30 PM, Part 2. Total of 8 hours of instruction. Students must attend Part 1 and Part 2. Hosted and taught by U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Certified Instructors.
Learn basic boating, boating laws, navigation, emergency procedures, communications, trailering, storing, and protecting your boat. Discover how to remain safe during water-skiing, PWC operation, and other boating tips.
Successful completion meets the requirements for a California Boating Card. As of January 1, 2025, the California Boating Card is required for all motorized vessel operators, regardless of age.
