Shopping Takes to Main Street for Sidewalk Saturday October 24

It should be a beautiful day on October 24 for our next Sidewalk Saturday! Come see all the restaurants and shops that are open, and look over the beautiful art and crafts produced by local residents. Since we’re so close to Halloween, some merchants and vendors will be offering Halloween treats for little ones in costume, when they can do so safely.

Among the open businesses are AJK Unique EmporiumRioVision GallerySam’s Custom Cakes, Agnello’s Deli, Rio Vista Bakery, Lucy’s Cafe, Raul’s Striper Cafe, Taqueria Mexico, Hong Kong Seafood, Pets 4 All, Brand You Consignment, Nora’s Barbershop, Hair Harbor, Hap’s Bait and Rio Vista Pizza Factory.

The Rio Vista Friends of the Library will be on hand selling books as a fundraiser for the library.
Vendors offering their own handmade creations and collections include Doug WathenMilian Correia, Linda FeadRachel WarrenMaryann MowatMarietta Thompson, and more. Plus the artists affiliated with RioVision Gallery will be in and around the gallery to meet their fans and sell pieces. RV’s newest home bakery, Bakers by the Dozenz, will be on hand with sweet treats.
The Rio Vista Visitor Center on 2nd Street will also be open, selling past Bass Derby shirts, hats and sweatshirts along with postcards and small souvenir items carrying Rio Vista and state of California logos. Dated merchandise from past years (shirts, sweatshirts, hats) will be sold for only $5!

The Rio Vista Museum will also be open from 1:30 to 4:30 pm, so stop by to view a little bit of our city’s history.
Some of our candidates for local offices will also be on hand to meet people and answer questions.

As before, the Chamber will be making masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer available to all the participating merchants, so that everyone has a safe and enjoyable day.
