Saturday, August 22, 2020 was meant for a party! We were planning for one and it was going to be a good one, too! Except, the world as we’ve known it unexpectedly changed. Some of the committee members talked, we tried to be creative, tried to find a way to have maybe a different style of festival, we really thought about it.
We don’t like to throw in the towel, but, there are just too many unknowns. So, it is with sadness that the RioVision Hog August Bites Committee reluctantly informs you that the 7th Annual Hog August Bites has been cancelled. We’re planning a comeback though! August 28, 2021! We will definitely be ready for a party and we will have all earned a day out with great music, food, ribs, and chili and custom cars. What the heck, this gives you time to master your chili recipes, hone your bar-b-queuing skills and get those custom cars and trucks ready for the next one. We’re going to miss you this year, but we are looking forward to seeing you in the future! Until then… happy grillin’.
