The City of Rio Vista would like to thank the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association, Yin McDonald’s (Rio Vista), the Chinese American Association of Solano County & the Yin Family, for their generous donation of 5,000 surgical masks to our Community.
The Yin family has been a business owner and a member our Community for many decades. This donation of masks will be vital in keeping our community members safe in the fight against COVID-19. The donation also comes at a perfect time, as the State has recently released its face covering mandate. A large portion of these masks will be made available to our Community members.
Working with the City Manager, the Fire and Police Chiefs will develop a program to ensure those in need, at-risk persons and homeless are able to benefit from the Yin Family’s generosity. ‘Stay tuned’ for distribution locations and information on how you can obtain masks for you and your family.
