The mission of the Napa/ Solano Area Agency on Aging is to advocate for and enhance the quality of life, health, independence, and dignity of older adults, the disabled, and caregivers. The AAA provides information, assistance, and provider services that address issues impacting older Californians. The Agency also supports and advocates for community-based care-delivery systems that provide needed services and support, especially during the COVID-19 crisis. The Agency’s Advisory Council is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill one opening in each county. The 16-member Council pursues diversity and equity across all demographic, geographic, economic, social and cultural communities; the Council is comprised of interested and engaged leaders within our senior, healthcare, and support services communities.

Council and committee meetings are held monthly, alternating between Napa and Fairfield. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled. Interested candidates can download the application online at www.aaans.org or call 707-784-9860.
