Many businesses in the Rio Vista/ Isleton area are now open for business, with restaurants offering social distancing dinein services, and beauty salons and barbers again welcoming clients.
Things to remember:
The reopening conditions for beauty salons include that they must take temperatures and all clients and beauty operators must wear masks. This is not personal preference, but state mandate, so please don’t give them a hard time.
Restaurants also must adhere to some state requirements, including distance between tables and disposable menus. Since this dictates reduced seating, patrons are asked to not linger at tables for extended periods, but rather to eat and leave so that the table can be turned over for the next customers.
Here’s a quick rundown of what we know right now, that can be verified as of 5/30/20:
City Hall — offices are closed to the public but staff is still working; if you have inquiries, call City Hall at 707-374- 6451, or go on their website at https://www. riovistacity.com/ for a list of resource phone numbers.
The Rio Vista Public Boat Launch is open, as are the Public Dock and Riverwalk. All parks, the Senior Center and the Youth Center are closed. The Library is still closed, however the Book Drop is open to take returns, and curbside pickup and virtual programs continue.
Post Office –– open regular hours, mail delivery being maintained; phone is 707- 374-2867
Schools –– All schools in the River Delta Unified School District remain on Distance Learning through the end of the school year.
Trash Pickup — Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery remains on regular schedule for trash/garbage pickup. However, special pickups have been suspended.
Banks Bank of Stockton – normal hours, but metered lobby entrance F&M Bank – normal hours
