Have you checked out the City Community Calendar posted on the City and RioVison websites? Did you know it is also published weekly in the Beacon under the title What’s Happening in Rio Vista?
If you are a community based organization holding a public event or holding sign-ups for community activities here’s the place for free publicity! Additionally, the more people who have their events on the calendar, the easier it is to make sure multiple events aren’t being held at the same time.
It’s really easy to get your event on the calendar. Send an email to calendar.riovision@gmail.com and include the following information:
- Name of the event
- Date and time (include a start and end time if applicable)
- Location
- Contact information
- Other event information that might be available such as an event flyer or website that contains more details about your event.
- If this is a recurring event, indicate how long it continues.
You will receive an email upon the event being entered in the calendar. It is suggested that you review your information and notify RioVision if any information is incorrect.
