FAIRFIELD, CA – September 23, 2026 – Today, the Solano Community Foundation officially kicks off the early giving window for its second annual countywide giving campaign, Live Solano Give Solano 2026. Starting this morning at 6:00 AM, community members can visit Live Solano Give Solano to pre-schedule or make immediate donations in advance of the official 24-hour giving day on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
Building on the incredible momentum of last year’s inaugural campaign, which raised over $110,000 from donors across the country, the 2026 initiative aims to supercharge funding for the vital nonprofits serving Solano County. From local youth programs and food networks to animal rescues and environmental conservation groups, residents can directly support the organizations that strengthen, uplift, and care for the community.
“Live Solano Give Solano is a powerful, community-wide celebration of generosity that puts a spotlight on the nonprofits doing vital work right here in our backyard,” says the Solano Community Foundation. “By launching early giving on September 23, we make it even easier for neighbors, local businesses, and regional partners to plan their philanthropy and stand together with the local leaders working on the frontlines every day.”
Making an impact is simple and highly accessible, with a minimum gift amount of just $10. The digital giving portal supports a wide array of payment methods, including credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Every early dollar raised beginning today counts directly toward the organizations’ October 7 leaderboard totals, helping them qualify for critical match funds and special day-of prizes.
