The RioVision Gallery welcomes the month of February with new art in many genres to please the visual senses. Since it is well known that February is the month of love, hope and delicious chocolates, we are celebrating our jewelry designers as the Artists of the Month. Two of these featured designers are new to the RioVision Gallery, so be sure to check them all out.
Meet Birdtown Designs. These designers feature hand crochet lariat necklaces. Their Endless Possibilities creations include delicate crystals and other beads. Designers include Cindy Stewart, Jill Graham, Joann Hill and Lane Sennett. Susan Prince shows off her talents with beautiful stone and crystal necklaces, earrings and some earring/necklace sets. Dianne Patterson is another new jewelry designer working with stone beads as well as glass beads and usually include matching earrings. Last, but certainly not least is Amy Schmidt’s work in copper and brass metals, including stones, abalone, pearls and unique glass. Each of these four jewelers offer unique designs and materials not seen elsewhere.
Don’t forget to pick up a box of See’s Candies for that special person (or yourself) for that Valentine’s treat. There’s a choice for every occasion.
The Gallery has incorporated some new artists and now has a larger exhibit including many genres ranging from jewelry to paintings and photography to three-dimensional works and knit or felt goods. The Gallery is located at 116 Main Street, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please drop by and talk with one of the artists who volunteer their time to answer questions you may have. Sanitizing and mask mandates are strictly adhered to. COVID COMPLIANT.
