After months of planning the big day has come and gone! RioVision and the Hog August Bites Committee would like to thank so many people for helping to make this a successful event.
Our volunteers from planning the event to the execution of it, we couldn’t do it without YOU! Our volunteers covered so many areas from cleaning and preparation, raffle sales, chili and rib tasting ticket sales, greeting our contestants and vendors, set-up and tear-down and everything in between. There were 45 members on the team that really made it work. Some even pulled double shifts and more. A big thank you to each of you for giving up your time for the community.

Juried Rib winners was a nail biter! For the first time in Tracy Allen’s 10 years of judging, there was a 3 way tie for 2nd place! This is unusual as there are several layers to break a tie. These 3 pit masters tied across all the layers!
