May 9
Deputies were called to the 500 block of Palisades Drive for a report of someone violating a restraining order. When Deputies arrived, the person was still there in clear violation of the restraining order. They were placed under arrest and were booked into county jail.
A vehicle was pulled over at Highway 12 and Drouin Drive for having no license plate. The driver and passenger had been smoking marijuana inside the car, which is a violation of the law. After a search of the vehicle, the Deputy located crack cocaine. Because cocaine is now reduced to a misdemeanor only, the driver was given a citation and released.
A resident on Elm Way called because an older man had possible exposed himself to her child while on the street. The person was contacted and was given a citation for indecent exposure, but due to other comments and observations was taken to Fairfield for a mental health evaluation.
May 10 A theft involving a firearm had occurred in Suisun this day. While patrolling our city, a Deputy saw the vehicle that was believed to have been involved in that theft. They contacted the driver and learned it was the same person. We contacted Suisun PD to let them know we detained their suspect. The suspect also had a misdemeanor warrant from Kern County for which he was issued a citation.
May 12 A work truck was stolen from Tahoe Drive. The truck was later recovered in the city of Richmond. There were no witnesses or evidence for this vehicle theft.
May 14 In the early morning hours a resident in the Liberty neighborhood reported seeing someone on their house camera that had tried to open their car door. Deputies responded but did not see anyone in the area. They remained for almost two hours and then saw someone walked at 2am. They tried to contact this person, but they ran and jumped fences through various backyards. While setting a perimeter, a vehicle was stopped. The driver matched the person seen on camera as well as the person who initially fled Deputies. The suspect was issued a citation for prowling, lying about his identity and driving on a suspended license. His vehicle was towed and he was given a ride out of the city and county. This suspect is being investigated for any connection to recent thefts in Rio Vista.
A resident on Amador Circle reported that his home had been broken into. The home was under construction and he found the doors open when he returned this day. One item was taken from the house, and no signs of any forced entry were found. The homeowner had a security camera, but it did not record anything unusual.
A vehicle was driving on Highway 12 and a Deputy saw they had illegal window tinting and expired vehicle registration. He stopped the vehicle and could smell and see marijuana inside the car. Deputies searched vehicle and found over half a pound of marijuana (well over the legal limit of 1 ounce), items showing the marijuana was being sold from the vehicle, Xanex and MDMA (Ecstasy pills), a loaded firearm with no serial number and an extended
