The weather is warm and kids are out! What a great time for Little
League at Egbert Field! Rio Vista Little League is raising funds to
repair the Grandstand and Score Booth at Egbert Field and we need help
from our community! We will be hosting a Drive Thru Dinner on
Saturday, July 10 at Montezuma Fire Dept from 4pm-7pm.
The dinner will include a pulled pork sandwich, homemade cole slaw,
Portuguese beans, and a dessert treat, all for $12! Tickets can be
purchased at Pets 4 All on Main St., at the Ballpark during Sandlot
League Activities, or from Chrissy Langlois at
rvsoftballmom10@gmail.com or Hope Cohn. We will also be offering
dinner tickets at our Movie Night at the Ballpark event on Saturday,
June 26!
This is a free event for the entire community and all snack bar
profits will go to our fundraising efforts to beautify Egbert Field.
We will be showing “The Rookie” at 9pm and the snack bar will be open
at 8:15.
BUT WAIT!!! We have activities for the adults too!! The Rio Vista
Adult Softball League will start its league on Monday, July 12 with
games every Monday and Thursday through the summer. We’re still
looking for teams to join us and will have our season opening
Captain’s Meeting on Sunday, June 27 at 6pm at The Point Restaurant.
