SACRAMENTO COUNTY – Caltrans is alerting motorists that the Three-Mile Slough Bridge on State Route 160 (SR 160) is scheduled for partial daytime closures for additional parts replacement. The bridge remains safe for travel.
This ongoing work is part of a $24.1 million emergency project to make necessary upgrades to four Delta bridges along the Sacramento River.
For motorists and workers’ safety, the bridge will be under daily one-way traffic control. Caltrans contractors will be installing an emergency generator and additional equipment.
Schedule: Daily 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. from March 30 through April 30
California legal trucks having a kingpin-to-rear-axle of more than 40 feet are not recommended on SR 160.
Weather conditions could delay or cancel scheduled work. Caltrans advises motorists to “Be Work Zone Alert.”
