JOHN FRANCES VIEIRA, lovingly known as “Jack” was born June 9, 1923, passed away at home on April 15, 2023, less than two months before his 100th birthday. He is survived by his children Linda Long, Elaine Alexander and John E. Vieira along with his 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren. He lived through the Great Depression, fought in WWII at the age of 19, and was married to the love of his life for 60 years. Jack was the last of the original owners of Vieira’s Resort in Isleton California. He loved to fish, hunt, build things with his hands, and garden. His faith in God and love for his family kept him going. His light will forever shine within us all. Friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. St. Therese Catholic Church 100 4th Street, Isleton, California.
