VACAVILLE, CA: Solano Land Trust is currently seeking new Board and Committee members with expertise in natural resources to help guide and support its mission to inspire a love of the land and preserve it for people, food, and the natural environment.
Ideal candidates will bring specialized knowledge in one or more of the following areas: wildlife habitat, oak woodlands, riparian corridors, vernal pools, livestock grazing, and environmental permitting. This expertise is vital to advancing the land trust’s stewardship of Solano County’s diverse landscapes and ecosystems.
In addition to natural resource professionals, Solano Land Trust welcomes individuals with backgrounds in agriculture, real estate, finance, planning and government, legal affairs, and public policy. Board and Committee members play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization, advocating for land conservation, and ensuring long-term sustainability.
