July 22
Officers were dispatched to the area of Sierra Avenue and Drouin Drive for two vehicles doing doughnuts in the intersection.  Officers located the responsible vehicles parked and unoccupied in the 100 block of Drouin Drive but took note of their descriptions and license plates.  Later in the day officers located one of the responsible vehicles operating on city streets and noticed the vehicle had other violations.  The driver was stopped and cited for the observed violations and admonished for the doughnuts.
San Francisco Police Department asked Rio Vista Police Department to assist in locating the registered owner of a vehicle they had stopped.  The driver of the vehicle wasn’t the owner and the SFPD officers wanted to confirm with the owner that he knew who had his vehicle.  RVPD officers responded to the owner’s house, but no one answered the door.  They left a business card but never heard back from the owner.
An officer was behind a vehicle traveling on highway 12 near Summerset and noticed the driver was unable to maintain its lane.  The officer conducted a traffic stop and suspected the driver was under the influence of alcohol.  The officer had the driver perform a series of field sobriety tests including a field breathalyzer test.  The breathalyzer test revealed a preliminary blood alcohol content of .24, three times the legal limit.  The driver was arrested and later booked into the Solano County Jail.

July 23
An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  Upon contacting the driver, it was discovered they had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.  The driver was issued a citation for the outstanding warrant and provided with a court date.
An officer stopped a vehicle for not having a front license plate.  The officer approached the vehicle and saw it was occupied by the driver and three juveniles.  Upon contacting the driver, the officer noticed the driver had objective signs of intoxication.  The officer had the driver perform a series of field sobriety tests and ultimately arrested the driver for being under the influence of alcohol.  A friend was called to come take custody of the three children and vehicle.  The driver was transported to the police department where he was processed for the arrest and later released to a family member.

July 24
An officer recognized the driver of a vehicle from prior contacts and knew the driver to have a suspended driver’s license and be on searchable probation.  The officer conducted a traffic stop and conducted a search of the vehicle and driver.  During the search, officers found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  The driver was issued a citation for driving without a license, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

July 25
Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Highway 12 for a single vehicle traffic collision.  The driver of the vehicle stated a vehicle had encroached into his lane causing him to veer off the roadway, ultimately crashing into a small cement wall.  The driver had minor injuries, but the vehicle sustained major damage.

July 26
Officers were dispatched to a house on Revival Lane regarding a verbal argument.  Officers arrived and contacted three subjects inside the residence.  While speaking with the female, she said her husband had attempted to hit her with his cane.  All of the involved parties were able to calm down and separate.  Based on the allegation that the husband attempted to hit his wife with his cane, a criminal report was written and sent to the district attorney’s office for review.

July 27
While on patrol, an officer happened across a traffic collision on Highway 12 east of Summerset.  The collision involved two vehicles and 10 individuals.   Ultimately, four people died as a result of the collision and the other six were taken to local hospitals to be treated for their injuries.
